‘Chathurmaana – 2018’, was an inter-university talent competition organized by second year students of the Accounting and Financial Management Association (AFMA) of the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce (FMSC), University of Sri Jayewardenepura. ‘Chathurmaana – 2018’ is the first ever inter-university competition that provided a platform for the undergraduates with diverse talents to step beyond the academic framework and experience the magical taste of aesthetics. This event would turn out to be a gateway that unifies the university student body in the country, by enhancing amiable understanding, mutual respect and coexistence among undergraduates Final competition of this talent show was held on 30th August 2018 at National Youth Centre, Maharagama with the presence of Senior Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Vice Chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Dr. Harendra Kariyawasam, Head and the staff of the Department of Accounting, academic and non-academic members of the university, Alumni of the Department, undergraduates of the university and undergraduates from different universities of Sri Lanka. Winner of the competition was University of Colombo while University of Sri Jayewardenepura and Wayamba University emerged First Runners Up and Second Runners Up respectively.
