Annual Field Trip of the Department of Business Economics

The annual field trip of the Department of Business Economics was held on 11th and 12th January 2017 to Udawalawe and Belihul Oya. The trip was mainly organized with the aim of creating stronger bonds amongst the undergraduates of the department. Dr. Sumudu Perera-Head of the Department, other lecturers of the department and students from second, third and fourth years participated in the event.

On the first day the team visited the Elephant Transit Home, Udawalawa and had lunch by Udawalawa reservoir. Thereafter, BIZCON members visited Maduwanwela Walawwa and reached National Center for Leadership Development (NCLD) where the accommodation facilities were organized. At NCLD a bonfire had been organized and all BIZCON members were able to entertain the event.

The next day of the field trip started after having the breakfast in early morning at NCLD. Budugala Rajamaha Viharaya was the first place to visit on second day and lunch had been organized at Belihuloya which was the second destination of the day. After having dinner at Ratnapura all members reached to university by 11.00 pm ending wonderful two days in Udawalawa and Belihuloya.
