BEC 2320 : Macroeconomics – Continuous Assessment 2016 |Budget Proposals – 2016 of Sri Lanka
Department of Business Economics has scheduled various types of continuous assessments to evaluate the student performance for the course module BEC 2320 : Macroeconomics. Accordingly the first assignment was a debate on the ‘Budget Proposals – 2016 of Sri Lanka’. It is noted that the government has changed its policies and has adopted a policy to give cash transfers instead of the previous government’s policy of giving material subsidies.
Thereby, the students were required to carry out a debate on whether the current government should continue with cash transfers or material subsidies.
Accordingly, the debate session was successfully held on 4th of May 2016 at the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce.
