BEC 3323: Managerial Economics – Guest Lecture Series 2017
Department of Business Economics was able to successfully organize a guest lecture series under BEC 3323: Managerial Economics on Demand Estimation and Demand Forecasting. The event was held on 14th March 2017 at the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
Thereby the first in the series was conducted by Mr. Kalindu Somathilake, Senior Executive Demand Planning of Nestle Sri Lanka and Ms. Roshini Kaluarachchi, Head of Demand Planning of Unilever Sri Lanka and Ms. Sajeevani Hewage, Consumer and Market Insight Manager of Unilever Sri Lanka conducted the second session. The objective of this guest lecture series was to expose the third-year undergraduates in practical aspects of demand estimation and forecasting. The event was organized by the Department of Business Economics with the guidance of Mrs. Vishaka Gunasekara, Subject Coordinator and Mrs. Dinesha Siriwardena, Senior Lecturer of the department.
