Debate on Budget Proposals 2018
Department of Business Economics is organizing various types of activities to evaluate the student performance for the course module; BEC 2340: Macroeconomics. Accordingly, a debate on the 2018 budget proposals of Sri Lanka was held on the 22nd January 2018 at the premises of Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce.
The course is received by 11 departments of the faculty and the department conducts lectures in seven groups. Thereby, seven debate sessions were taken place under two debate motions; ‘Is the 2018 budget directed towards a Blue-Green economy or not?’ and ‘Does the budget 2018 enable Sri Lanka to attract FDIs or not?’.
