Colouring Smiles 2018 : CSR Project by Dept. of BEC
The Business Economics Students’ Association (BIZCON) of the Department of Business Economics successfully organized the Annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Project, “Colouring Smiles 2018” on the 20th August 2018.
Traditionally, “Colouring Smiles” project is especially aimed to provide physical facilities to underprivileged schools in the country. By taking a step further, this time the project was designed to emphasize the importance of education for school children of two rural schools namely Kosgama Vidyalaya and Baduldena Vidyalaya located in Haldummulla and to give them an unforgettable experience through an educational trip to Colombo area. The destinations of the trip were University of Sri Jayewardenepura, National Museum, Vihara Maha Devi Part, Nelum Pokuna Theater and Mount Lavinia beach.
