Dear students, as you embark on your second year, anticipate a lot of practical work and field experiences that will immerse you in the real world. To ensure you navigate these opportunities seamlessly, consider the importance of comfortable footwear (to protect your legs) and durable string clothing (preferably denims) for your field visits. These essentials will contribute to a smoother and more focused learning experience. Additionally, for those inclined towards drawings and sketching, a list of recommended items is provided to enhance your drawing skills. Wishing you an enriching and successful second year!

DEMV Mentoring Programme – 2020

This is to inform that the department has already commence the student’s mentoring programme for year 2020. Each student has been allocated to a lecturer of the DEMV as his/her mentor and the students’ allocation will be soon sent via e-mail groups or through batch representatives.

DEMV mentoring program is established to prepare students to have a pleasant, energetic and successful academic and social lives within the University. The program assists students who may go through a difficult time and assist to find solutions for problems related to students’ personal lives, family, educational and any other matters that negatively impact to their education in the University.

Please note –

  • Although undergraduates are officially assigned to mentors (Lecturers) by the DEMV mentoring coordinator, students are free to select respective Mentor (Lecturer) as his\her mentor. It is not required to inform that change to the DEMV mentoring coordinator.
  • Relationship of a mentor and a mentee is voluntary and confidential
