Field Visit to SEC, CSE and LOLC Securities
Prof. D.B.P.H.Dissabandara organized a field visit to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) and LOLC Securities Pvt Ltd for the 3rd year students of the Department of Finance as part of the FIN3320 Corporate Finance and FIN 3321 Investment and Portfolio Management courses of B.Sc. Finance (special) degree program. Ms.P.A.N.S Anuradha, Mr. S.D.L. Kogahawatta, Ms.I.G.S.Illubethanne, Ms.Y.M.P.S . Abeyratne and Ms.U.G.Kaushalya also participated in this session, representing the academic staff of the department. The prime objective of organizing this session was to conduct an awareness program to the students on the capital markets in Sri Lanka and to give them the exposure and experience of the real work environment.
