Financial Literacy Survey 2019
Undergraduates of Department of Finance conducted annual financial literacy survey on 23rd August 2019 in line with Snehadhara project in Handagiriya,Balangoda.
The undergraduates in the department of Finance started to pile up information from nearly 300 people based on the questionnaire provided by the department under the supervision of the head Dr.P.A.N.S Anuradha and other academic staff members. The villagers manifested their enthusiasm in engaging in the survey through their vigorous participation. Students got a precious mastery about various financial management practices of village which is beyond the classroom education. This program was a good eye-opener for the students on the contribution that they should shoulder as university students to increase the financial literacy among public.
