Nada- 2019
The most awaited annual aesthetic extravaganza in university of Sri Jayewardenepura is recognized as ‘NADA’ which is presented by the Students’ Association of Finance (SAF) with the guidance of head of the department Dr. (Ms) P.A.N.S. Anuradha, Senior Advisor Prof. P.D Nimal, Senior Auditor Ms. Y.M.P.S Abeyrathne, Senior Treasurer Ms. I.G.S.M Illubethanne including rest of the academic staff and Senior brotherhood, giving an opportunity for all undergraduates representing six faculties of the university. The main desire of this event is to add a value to the life by making a platform to explore the latent talents of undergraduates.
SAF staged “Nada” 2019 for the 10th Consecutive year on 8th August 2019 at Bandaranayake Hall with the theme of ‘LIFE ‘. The wonderful performances created an indelible memory from the utmost breath to the last breath.
The event was honoured with the presence of distinguished artist Senior. Prof. Sunil Ariyaratne accompanied by the Vice Chancellor, Senior. Prof. Sampath Amarathunga , Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, Dr. U. Anura Kumara and Head of the Department of Finance, Dr. P. A. N. S. Anuradha.
The own specialty of Nada is that, six faculties are combined in one stage providing a platform for multi-talented undergraduates of the university. More than 120 performers showcase their talent in singing, dancing and acting in Nada stage 2019, delivering mesmerizing experience to an audience of around 1500 university and non- university crowd.
