ILLUMINATE 2019 –  Self and Professional Development.

Department of Human Resource Management

Illuminate 2019 is an initiative by the Group D of 2nd year students of the Department of Human Resource Management, as an assignment under the subject entitled Self and Professional Development. The event was held on 6th of June from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Taylor Hall of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce. The objective of the event was to create conspicuous undergraduates. There were two sessions focusing on the preparation of Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Public Speaking. CV writing session was conducted by Ms. Keshavi Puswewala, HR Business Partner for Corporate Functions Employer Brand Lead, Unilever Sri Lanka. Mr. Dulinda Perera, CEO and Founder of IKON conducted the session on Public Speaking. To grace the occasion Dr. T.L Sajeewanie participated as the lecturer-in-charge. The event was immensely successful and received many positive feedback from participants.
