Senior Prof. H.H.D.N.P. Opatha was presented with the Research Award in recognition of achieving the highest h-index (the first place)

Senior Prof. H.H.D.N.P. Opatha was presented with the Research Award in recognition of achieving the highest h-index (the first place) among the academics of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce for the year-2016 at the Awarding Ceremony held on 29th September 2017 (Presented by the Research Council of USJ and there were three awards per the Faculty). Also he was able to win the Research Award in recognition of achieving the highest citations (the first place) in the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce for the year-2016 at the Awarding Ceremony held on 29th September 2017 (Presented by the Research Council of USJ and there were three awards per the Faculty). In fact he was able to win the Research Award in recognition of achieving the highest h-index and the Research Award in recognition of achieving the highest citations among the academics of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce for the year-2015 and the year 2014 as well ( there was only one award for the highest h-index and one award for the highest citations for the Faculty in the year 2014-the year of commencement of the research awards scheme).
