Prof. (Mrs.) Champa Hewagamage serves as a Professor in Information Technology at the Department of Information Technology in University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She holds a B.Sc. (Special) degree in Industrial Management with First Class honors from University of Kelaniya. She obtained a Master of Engineering Degree (specialized in Information Engineering) from the Nagoya University and a Doctor of Engineering Degree (specialized in Information Engineering) from Hiroshima University. She became a Professor in 2016.
