Famigo Chapter #6

Famigo Chapter #6 is the 6^th installment of an Annual Intra Departmental Cricket extravaganza organized by the undergraduates of the Department of Marketing Management of University of Sri Jayewardenepura. It was successfully held on the 9^th of October 2016 at University of Sri Jayewardenepura grounds.

The day started off just like any other Sunday in university but as the crowds started pouring in fAMIGO kicked off with flair with attendance of the Chief Guest Mr. Dasun Shanaka a cricketer in the National Cricket Team and the Head of the Department of Marketing Management Dr. Lalith Chandralal and other distinguished members of the academic staff.

With Cricket matches being held under two categories of men and women, the teams quickly took to the pitch do decide the victor for the day. With enthusiastic participation among the alumni and the current undergraduates of the university fAMIGO Chapter #6 created a platform where the past alumni of the department of marketing management could interact with the current batch of undergraduates enabling the healthy building of friendships.

With many secondary activities such as Cake decoration, the Mr.  & Mrs. fAMIGO, biscuit pass with Munchee Sun crackers, Big feed with Milco Yogurt, Kurumba game, roundabout with sun, Pizza and Soup Challenge taking place fAMIGO Chapter #6 was indeed a fun filled day.With the 2^nd Year undergraduates taking home the championship trophy for the evening from the Men’s Championship and 3^rd Year undergraduates winning the Women’s championship fAMIGO Chapter #6 concluded with the attendance of over 400 participants.
