Students Excellence Awarding Ceremony
“Students Excellence Awarding Ceremony” organized by Department of Marketing Management in collaboration with Hemas Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd was held on 10th June 2019 at the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce. The purpose of the ceremony was to present awards to outstanding students of the department representing each batch. All awards were sponsored by Hemas Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd under the MOU between Department of Marketing Management and Hemas. Three students were awarded at the ceremony for their outstanding performance during 2018 academic year. Thilinika Miyurangi Dahanayake won the award for the best student (second year) while the award for the best student (third year) was won by Bewan Sanura Fernando. Gashi Akalanki Hemamali received the gold medal for the best dissertation. In addition to awards, students were appreciated with cash rewards sponsored by Hemas.
Dr. U. Anura Kumara, Dean, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce graced the occasion as the chief guest who was accompanied by Head and the academic staff of the department. Further, the event was graced by representatives from Hemas headed by Mr. Mifaz Ahamed, Senior Manager (HR).
