Green & Clean Mannar
Yet another successful CSR Project was completed by the Alumni Association of Public Administration, University of Sri Jayewardenepura on 25th August 2019 in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Navy in Mannar district. To protect and preserve the Mannar coastal belt, more than 1250 mangrove saplings were planted in Naruvilikulum lagoon and a beach clean-up project was carried out in Talvupadu coastal area. A large number of alumni members of the Department of Public Administration and naval officers participated for this worthy endeavour. The main sponsor of this Project was the CSR Trust of Commercial Bank PLC.
