Undergraduate Research Day – Department of Public Administration
For the 4th consecutive year, the Department of Public Administration organized the Undergraduate Research Day (URD) on the 28th of February 2020 at the faculty premises. It is a platform for the final year students who have successfully completed their researches as a part of the degree programme. Selected extended abstracts after reviewing, were presented at the URD by the undergraduates. Those presented extended abstracts were published in the Undergraduate Research Day Proceedings and certificates were awarded to the presenters.
The keynote speaker of the URD was Emeritus Professor W.Indralal De Silva, Senior Professor (Chair) of Demography and Former Dean of the Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo. The event was graced by the Vice Chancellor (Actg.) of the University, Senior Prof. Sudantha Liyanage, the Dean of the Faculty Dr.U,Anura Kumara, Heads of the Departments and the academic staff members of the faculty, third and final year students of the Department. The URD was funded by the AHEAD ELTA-ELSA Project, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
