Program<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) Degree Program is a one-year full-time postgraduate degree programs of the Department of Accounting,
Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce (FMSC), University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lectures<\/strong>
The lectures will be held only on Fridays evenings and Saturdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Panel of Lecturers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The study program will be conducted by the academic staff of Faculty of Management Studies andCommerce (FMSC) of USJ. The services of resource persons of other local state universities, foreignuniversities, and industry will also be obtained on a visiting basis. Further, leaders\/ experts of industry also areinvited for special occasions such as guest lectures and the residential workshop<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cancellation of Registration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The standard period of study for the MPAcc degree program is one year. The registration of a candidate willautomatically be cancelled if he\/she fails to complete the degree within 3 academic years from the time of theenrollment in the program. A candidate whose registration has been cancelled but wishes to obtain the MPAccdegree are required to register afresh for the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to secure and maintain professional and ethical standards pertaining to discipline, students are expectedto exercise restraint in their conduct both inside and outside the University. It is the responsibility of each studentto obtain a copy of the Students\u2019 Handbook and familiarize himself\/herself with the regulations procedures andguidelines given therein and adhere to them in pursuing the studies and research prescribed by the Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
