A team of fourth-year undergraduates of the Department of Accounting was able to secure the Higher Educational Institutions Sector Award at the Governor’s Challenge Trophy Global Commerce Quiz organized by the Shippers\u2019 Academy Colombo partnering with the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL). The Team was led by Akila Gamage (CPM 19366), and comprised Lithira Abeysooriya (CPM 19281), Ahmed Shibly Ahmed Inshaf (CPM 19473), Supun Muthukuda (CPM 19622), and Anjanaah Sri Chandrakanthan (CPM 19277). The event was held on the 28th of August 2023 at Galadari Hotel Colombo which had the gracious attendance of the CBSL Governor, Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe and the Australian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Mr. Paul Stephens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
