Gamage Akila Uthsara Shantha, a graduate of the Department of Accounting, was awarded the Venerable Prof. (Dr.) Walpola Sri Rahula Maha Thera Memorial Gold Medal for being the Most Outstanding Student in the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce at the 50th Convocation of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the following graduates from the Department of Accounting were recognized for their exceptional performance in the B.Sc. Accounting (Special) Degree Programme with the following awards:1) Binara Jithmini Perera won the Prof. Y A D S S Samaratunga & B R de Silva Memorial Gold Medal and the CIMA Gold Medal.
2) Gamage Akila Uthsara won the ACCA Gold Medal, KPMG Gold Medal, and the CA Sri Lanka Gold Medal.
3) Ahmed Shibli Ahmed Inshaf won the CIMA Gold Medal.4) Janani Deema Dewmini won\u00a0the CIMA Gold Medal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
