\n HeartStrings\n <\/div>\n\n

\n HeartStrings<\/strong> is the English Day of the Department of Business Economics, organised in collaboration with the Business Communication Unit<\/strong>. The event provides undergraduates with a platform to strengthen their English language skills, creative expression, confidence, and cultural engagement through a range of literary and aesthetic activities.\n <\/p>\n\n

\n The initiative includes competitions such as creative writing, spelling, recitation, prepared speech, and essay writing, encouraging students to communicate their ideas with clarity, creativity, and originality. Outstanding achievements are recognised through certificates and winner\u2019s performances, allowing students to demonstrate their pronunciation, voice modulation, presentation skills, and ability to engage an audience.\n <\/p>\n\n

\n A key feature of HeartStrings is the launch of Echoes of Expression<\/em><\/strong>, an anthology of poems, short stories, and essays written by undergraduates of the Department. The publication provides a lasting platform for students to share their experiences, emotions, imagination, and perspectives beyond conventional academic writing. It also helps develop communication, observation, empathy, critical thinking, and the ability to organise ideas effectively.\n <\/p>\n\n

\n HeartStrings also features performances in areas such as music, dance, drama, and instrumental performance, bringing together students, academic staff, and invited guests in a shared celebration of language, creativity, and community. These activities allow students to combine English communication with storytelling, teamwork, leadership, and stage presence.\n <\/p>\n\n

\n As a departmental initiative, HeartStrings contributes to holistic undergraduate development by promoting communication skills, teamwork, confidence, artistic appreciation, interpersonal competencies, and active student engagement beyond the conventional classroom environment. It encourages undergraduates to become confident communicators, creative thinkers, and collaborative future professionals.\n <\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
