The programme has been structured in a manner that will benefit professionals from both the corporate and government sectors. The specific objectives of this programme are three-fold:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-bottom: 0;\">\n<li>Guide corporate\/public sector employees to make rational business\/policy decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Promote employment in National and International Organizations by providing opportunities to acquire the required postgraduate qualifications.<\/li>\n<li>Guide graduate students to pursue their Doctoral studies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"background: #fff; border: 1px solid #e5e5e5; border-radius: 12px; padding: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px; line-height: 1.7; color: #444;\">\n<h3 style=\"color: #993300; margin-top: 0;\">Programme Structure<\/h3>\n<p><strong>This programme offers two pathways for its applicants: the Specialisation Pathway and the General Programme.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"bec-pathway-intro\" style=\"color: #993300;\">Specialisation Pathway<\/h3>\n<p>The Specialisation Pathway is designed for students who wish to develop expertise in a selected area of economics and pursue academic, research, policy, or international careers. Students select a specialisation area at the beginning of the programme. In Year I, students complete core courses and choose optional subjects from the relevant subject basket related to their specialisation.
