EconInsight<\/strong> is a flagship educational outreach initiative organized annually by the Business Economics Students\u2019 Association (BIZCON) of the Department of Business Economics, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The programme is designed specifically to support Advanced Level Economics students in Sri Lanka by strengthening their subject knowledge and enhancing their preparation for the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the largest student-led outreach programme of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce (FMSC), EconInsight reaches nearly 2,000 A\/L Economics students every year. Its core component is an annual seminar series conducted across both physical and virtual platforms, offering structured, examination-focused guidance and clear explanations of the Advanced Level economics syllabus. In addition to the seminar series, EconInsight recently expanded its academic support to school learners through the publication of a comprehensive model question paper book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being conducted by professors and senior lecturers of the Department of Business Economics, and organised by the students of the Business Economics Students\u2019 Association, EconInsight ensures high-quality delivery that combines expert insights with practical illustrations and exam-oriented discussions. Through this initiative, the Department continues to contribute significantly to improving economic literacy and supporting the academic success of A\/L Economics students across Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
