This workshop was aimed to enhance students&#8217; understanding of the practical functions and responsibilities of the Central Bank within the financial system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program covered a wide range of topics, including the regulatory framework for banking and non-banking financial institutions, developments in payment and settlement systems, virtual currencies, monetary policy implementation, and international reserve management. It also explored the critical roles of the Currency Department and the Financial Intelligence Unit in combating financial crimes.
