Department of Business Economics was awarded \u201cthe Gold Medal Donated by the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM)\u201d for obtaining a First Class pass with the Highest Grade Point Average (GPA) at the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Business Economics) Special Degree Examination held in March 2022 at the&nbsp;48th Convocation of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura&nbsp;which was held on&nbsp;the 22 of October 2022 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Colombo.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Ms. Chalani managed to become the highest GPA holder of the Department of Business Economics 2016\/17 batch while extending his contribution to many student organisations in the University, including the Business Economics Students\u2019 Association (BIZCON) during the years 2019 \u2013 2021.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NIBM Gold Medal recipient (2016\/17 Batch)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NIBM Gold Medal is awarded for the best student in the Department of Business Economics, every year at the completion of the degree programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-1
