Economics was awarded the Gold Medal donated by the National Institute of Business Management at the 48th Convocation of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        The convocation was held on 22 October 2022 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Colombo. The medal recognised her achievement in obtaining a First Class pass with the highest Grade Point Average at the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Business Economics) Special Degree Examination held in March 2022.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        Ms. Liyanage obtained the highest GPA among the students of the Department of Business Economics from the 2016\/2017 batch.
