The persistent trade deficit further intensified this situation, highlighting the urgent need to strengthen the country\u2019s export sector and improve its ability to capture opportunities in global markets.<\/p>\n\n  <p>Sri Lanka possesses significant potential to expand its presence in international markets if the economy is managed strategically in line with current global market trends. However, potential exporters continue to face several long-standing challenges, including limited awareness, difficulties in finding buyers, inadequate infrastructure, and insufficient institutional support. In this context, it became important to create a platform to promote public dialogue on export potential, increase awareness, and support the export industry through knowledge sharing and practical guidance.<\/p>\n\n  <p>Recognising these national priorities, the <strong>Department of Business Economics<\/strong>, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, conducted <strong>J\u2019PURA EXPO 2022<\/strong> as an export-promoting initiative aimed at supporting Sri Lanka\u2019s export-oriented development.<\/p>\n\n  <h3 style=\"color:#4E0205; margin-top:25px;\">J\u2019PURA EXPO 2022<\/h3>\n\n  <p><strong>J\u2019PURA EXPO 2022<\/strong> was successfully held on <strong>5, 15, and 17 December 2022<\/strong> at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura premises and <strong>Mihilaka Medura, BMICH, Colombo<\/strong>.
