E<\/span>stablished in 1980<\/strong><\/span>, our Department is the pioneer in Business Management Education within the Sri Lankan university system.\u00a0We offer a globally competitive four-year honours degree in Business Management, a BSc Honours in Business Administration<\/span>, a three-year external degree, a BSc Business Studies (General) External Degree<\/span>, and an MPhil (Business)<\/span>. Moreover, we offer courses across a broad range of subjects,\u00a0including\u00a0Management, Organisational Behaviour, Strategy, and International Business<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

We remain the largest academic Department of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and play a unique and significant role within the Faculty by providing teaching and research support to students in other departments and postgraduate programmes. In our long history, our Department has immensely contributed to the progress of management education, the corporate sector, and the wider society of Sri Lanka. Its alumni include renowned corporate leaders, scholars, businesspersons, government officials, and community leaders. Currently, our internal student population is nearly eight hundred undergraduates.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text]\u00a0
