Kaluarachchi (University of Colombo), in Strategy &amp; Leadership, a leading journal in strategic management and organisational leadership, indexed in Scopus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This study explores how managerial identity work enables strategic change in resource-constrained organisational contexts. Using a qualitative case study of a Sri Lankan manufacturing firm undergoing Lean transformation, the research demonstrates how managers reconstruct strategy through identity negotiation and \u201crule-bending\u201d practices.
