(General) External Degree Programme thus, making this course a flexible one.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>(A)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pass in any three subjects at one sitting at the Sri Lanka General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) Examination.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0OR<\/p>\n<p>(B)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Obtained any of the professional or other qualifications recognized by the Department of Commerce of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura as indicated follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (a) Specialist Trained Teachers\u2019 Certificate in Commerce of the Department of Education.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (b) Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries, UK.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (c) Passed at the\u00a0 Final Examination of the Institute of Bankers, Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (d) National Certificate in Business Studies (two year course) of the Sri Lanka Technical College.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (e) An officer of the Government Accountants Service who has passed the Final Examination of Government Accountants of Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (f)\u00a0 Higher National Diploma in Management of the Open University of Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (g) Passed in all parts of Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) of Sri Lanka or UK.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (h) Passed finalist of Chartered Institute of Marketing (United Kingdom) or Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (i)\u00a0 Passed second level examination of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (j)\u00a0 Passed second level examination of <em>Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 OR<\/p>\n<p>(C)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A Degree of a recognized University.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 OR<\/p>\n<p>(D)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Possess qualifications which the External Examinations Committee of the Department of Commerce of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura recognizes to be equivalent to any of the above qualifications or requirements.<\/p>\n<p>All external candidates must be 18 years of age or over on 1<sup>st<\/sup> January of the respective academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Those who possess the following requirements will be eligible to apply for registration as an external candidate for the B.Com.
