\"\"<\/a>The Infinity Case Study Competition 2020 organized by the Commerce Society (COMSO); the Semi-final round concluded on the 13th<\/sup> of March 2021 via the Zoom Meeting Platform. The Head of the Department of Commerce Dr. (Mrs) Ayoma Sumanasiri addressed the gathering and expressed her gratitude for the contestants for taking part in the event and for the financial sponsors for the support extended to organize the event at this calibre.<\/p>\n

With exceptional performance in the first round Team Slytherin, Team Beyond Infinity, Team Edge and Team Gladiators qualified to the semi-final round of the 2nd<\/sup> edition of the Infinity Case Study Competition. The semi-final round was highly intense with all the teams coming up with different models as substantial solutions for the case provided by the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka (AAT Sri Lanka) who sponsored the semi-final round of the Infinity Case Study Competition 2020.\u00a0 The panellist for the evening were Mr Dinuka Subapanditha \u2013 Marketing and Promotions Manager of AAT Sri Lanka, Dr Prathap Kaluthanthri \u2013 Senior Lecturer of the Department of Estate Management and Valuation, Mr Thushara Dassanayake \u2013 Senior Lecturer of the Department of Business Administration and Mr Sachin Wijayasinghe \u2013Assistant Lecturer of the Department of Commerce.<\/p>\n

We are glad to announce that Team Gladiators, Team Slytherin and Team Beyond Infinity advanced to the Grand finale which will be held virtually on the 21st<\/sup> of March 2021 from 02.00 pm onwards via Zoom Meeting Platform.<\/p>\n
