The Department of EMV formed its Alumni Association in the year 1990 to strengthen the relationships between the present and past graduations. Many of the EMV graduates\u00a0 today hold significant positions in the corporate sector as well as in the government sector.<\/p>\n

Invictus 2023<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/a>INVICTUS EMV Alumni Dinner and Fellowship organized by the EMV Alumni Association held on 11th March at Grand Ballroom, Waters Edge, Battramulla. The EMV Alumni Association together with the Department of Estate Management and Valuation (DEMV), University of Sri Jayewardenepura organized this extravagant event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the B.Sc. (Honors) Estate Management and Valuation Degree Program as the premier Real Estate and Valuation degree in Sri Lanka. The event brought together alumni from the 1972 batch to the recently passed out 2021 batch to reminisce about their time at the university, reconnect with old friends, and celebrate the program\u2019s achievements.The highlight of the event was the teacher felicitation ceremony where the EMV Alumni paid tribute to all the past and present teachers appreciating their significant contribution made towards the degree program, society and the nation at large. The event was graced by Guests of Honours Senior Professor Sampath Amaratunge, Chairman, University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka, Professor Upul Subasinghe, Acting Vice Chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and Professor P.D. Nimal, Dean, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura and, Dr Upuli Perera, Head, Department of Estate Management and Valuation and President EMV Alumni AssociationThe evening ended with a dinner and fellowship, where alumni continued to reconnect and celebrate. INVICTUS concluded as a remarkable event that showcased the program\u2019s legacy and impact over the past 50 years. The program has produced exceptional leaders and innovators in various fields specifically Real Estate Management and Valuation, and the reunion was a testament to the degree program\u2019s commitment to excellence in education.<\/p>\n
