The Department of Estate Management and Valuation conducted a field-based academic exercise for third-year undergraduate students of the B.Sc. (Honours) in Real Estate Management and Valuation degree programme, under the course EMV3371: Construction Project Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of this activity, students engaged in field observations and conducted structured interviews with project managers and relevant officers attached to their selected construction projects. This hands-on learning approach enabled students to gain practical insights into the planning, coordination, and execution of real estate development projects, while examining real-world challenges and management practices within the construction industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this experiential learning initiative, students were able to critically analyze key aspects of construction project management, including project organization, resource allocation, stakeholder coordination, and risk management. The interaction with industry professionals further enhanced their understanding of current practices and emerging trends in contemporary real estate development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative reflects the Department\u2019s continued commitment to integrating practical exposure with academic learning, thereby equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required to navigate the complexities of the construction and real estate sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
