The first workshop of the ICREMV 2026 Pre-Conference Workshop Series, titled \u201cValuation of Trade Related Properties,\u201d was successfully concluded on 25th September 2026, bringing together academics, valuation professionals, and participants for an in-depth exploration of key considerations in the valuation of trade-related properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop focused on contemporary aspects of trade-related property valuation, providing participants with an opportunity to enhance their understanding of the principles and professional considerations involved in assessing properties whose value is closely associated with their trading potential and operational characteristics. The session also provided a platform for discussion and knowledge exchange on practical valuation perspectives relevant to the profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop was conducted by Mr. P. W. Senarathne, Chartered Valuation Surveyor and Former Government Chief Valuer, who shared his extensive professional experience and insights with participants. His practical perspectives contributed to a meaningful learning experience, connecting professional practice with current valuation considerations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
