The\u00a0Department of Entrepreneurship\u00a0successfully organized and conducted the\u00a03rd International Research Symposium on Entrepreneurship (IRSE)<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0February 18, 2025, as a part of the\u00a021st International Conference on Business Management (ICBM 2025)<\/strong>\u00a0at the\u00a0University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The symposium was held under the theme\u00a0\u201cCrossroads of Creativity and Responsibility: Building Sustainable Futures in Business and Education.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was chaired by\u00a0Prof. Rukmal Weerasinghe, Dr. Sriyani Ranasinghe, Prof. B. Nishantha, and Dr. D.M.N.S.W. Dissanayake<\/strong>, and conducted as part of the\u00a0Undergraduate Research Symposium of the broader ICBM Research Week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were honored to have\u00a0Dr. Mangala Fonseka<\/strong>\u00a0as the\u00a0keynote speaker, who delivered an inspiring address on entrepreneurship, research, and innovation, sparking thought-provoking discussions among participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special highlight of the symposium was the\u00a0undergraduates from the Department of Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, USJ, who showcased their research by presenting their papers. Their dedication and passion for entrepreneurial research were truly commendable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event also featured\u00a0distinguished panelists and researchers, who shared their expertise and provided valuable feedback, enriching the research experience of our students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
