Entry Qualifications for Master of Applied Finance (SLQF 9)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the following minimum entry qualifications (SLQF) is required for the application to the program. Preference will be given to the most qualified candidates.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. A qualification equivalent to SLQF 5 or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Commerce, Management, or <\/a>relevant discipline from a recognized university, degree-awarding institute, or professional institute.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. A qualification equivalent to SLQF 5 or above from a recognized university, degree awarding institute, or professional institute, along with prior learning in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Commerce, Management or relevant discipline or one year of post-qualification experience in an executive capacity in the finance sector.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. A qualification (passed finalist) consistent with SLQF 5 or above from a professional<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. institute, along with two years of experience in an executive capacity in the Finance sector or prior learning Finance, Economics, Accounting, Commerce, or Management.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Completion of NVQ level 7 in a relevant discipline, as determined by the BOSBS of the FMSC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (HNDA)\/ Higher National Diploma in Management (HNDM)\/ Higher National Diploma in Commerce (HNDC) (4-year course) offered by Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education with one year of relevant experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Any other qualification accepted by the Senate of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    6. Institute of Bankers Sri Lanka (IBSL)- Member<\/li>\n\n\n\n
