The students of the department started collecting information from nearly 400 people based on the questionnaire provided by the Department of Finance under the supervision of the head, Prof. Hareendra Dissabandara. Villagers showed their enthusiasm in participating for the survey through their active participation and hospitality to the questions raised by the students.<\/p>\n<p>It is undoubted that students got a good knowledge about various financial management practices of villagers in this area which is beyond the class room education. This program is a good eye-opener for the students on the contribution that they should make as university students to increase the financial literacy among the
