The coordinator of the program, Dr. K.L.W. Perera, has invited the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sampath Amaratunga, as the Chief Guest and senior Prof. (Dr.) H.H.D.N.P. Opatha, Department of Human Resource Management, as the Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker of this special event. Dr. G. Tanthirigama, Dean of NSBM, Senior Prof. Prof. W.M. Abayarathne Bandara, Department of Finance, Prof. Hareendra Dissabandara, Head of the Department of Finance, Prof. Weerakoon Banda, Department of Finance, Dr. Sumudu Perera, Head of the Department of Business Economics, Mr. Marlon Gunasekara, Head of the Department of Business Administration, Dr. Duminda Kuruppuarachchi, Senior Lecturer, Department of Decision Science, Dr. Sriyalatha, Senior Lecturer, Department of Business Economics and\u00a0 Mr. Lalith Fernanado, Treasury Risk Manager, Bank of Ceylon, were also in the distinguished gathering. At this inauguration, Senior Prof. Prof. W.M. Abayarathne Bandara was awarded a special token to appreciate his humble and dedicated service to the Applied Finance Program as a professor of Finance.
