On 2nd<\/sup> December 2024, the academic staff of the Department of Finance of University of Sri Jayewardenepura visited Acuity Knowledge Partners, a leading provider of research, analytics, and technology solutions to the financial services industry. The program was arranged as a part of the monthly Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programs conducted by the department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The panel of experts from Acuity Knowledge Partners including the Country Head of Sri Lanka – Mr. Jehan Jeyaretnam, Mr. Nuwan Jayawardana, Ms. Dilinie Gunathilaka, and Ms. Himasha Perera shared their invaluable experiences and insights into the operational model of the company, knowledge management, and best practices in knowledge process outsourcing. The discussion also led to explore avenues to strengthen the collaboration and empower undergraduates with practical exposure to the financial services sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This visit reinforced the department’s commitment to maintain strong industry ties and ensure that the undergraduate curriculum remains at the forefront of the evolving financial landscape, ensuring that our students are well-prepared to excel in their future careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
