{"id":4960,"date":"2025-02-18T09:57:00","date_gmt":"2025-02-18T04:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mgt.sjp.ac.lk\/fin\/?p=4960"},"modified":"2025-03-12T13:06:04","modified_gmt":"2025-03-12T07:36:04","slug":"8th-student-conference-in-finance-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mgt.sjp.ac.lk\/fin\/8th-student-conference-in-finance-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"8th Student Conference in Finance \u2013 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marking another milestone in the Department\u2019s commitment to scholarly advancement and knowledge sharing, <strong>Student Conference in Finance was held on 18<sup>th<\/sup> February 2025<\/strong> at the University premises for the eighth consecutive year, in collaboration with the 21<sup>st<\/sup> International Conference on Business Management (ICBM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s Student Conference in Finance featured abstracts from twenty-one undergraduates who successfully engaged in quantitative and qualitative research in their final year under broad fields such as corporate finance, financial markets, corporate governance, investor behaviour and behavioural finance, financial literacy, sustainability, financial inclusion, and financial technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 8<sup>th<\/sup> Student Conference in Finance was a resounding success, with the enthusiastic participation from the faculty members, paper presenters and undergraduates.
