After a hiatus of 4 years, the Students\u2019 Association of the Department of Human Resource Management relaunched the project \u201cHR Ape Iskole\u201d with massive success on the 07th of September, 2023 at the University premises. The vision of \u201cHR Ape Iskole\u201d has always been to empower and enrich the lives of students in rural areas by fostering their dynamic and leadership skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inaugural phase of this project engaged 50 students of the Prefects Guild of Anura Central College, Yakkala with the guidance of Prof. Aruna S. Gamage, as well as the head of the department of HRM, Senior Prof. Hemantha Kottawatta.\u00a0 The program comprised two distinct sessions: an Outbound Training (OBT) program as the first session, followed by an inspiring motivational session and a university tour. The OBT session was organized to develop the leadership, communication, creativity, risk-taking, and decision-making skills of the students. The motivational session conducted by Professor Aruna S. Gamage, filled the students with profound determination to strive for success and to secure university admission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
