A Tech Talk, organized by ConceptVines in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, was held on 14th December 2022<\/strong> with the title \u201cContributing to Free and Open-Source Software\u201d<\/strong>. This was conducted as a hybrid event where students from the first year, second year, and third year of the Department of Information Technology participated physically from ITRC Lab 09 at the university and also via Zoom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The keynote speaker was Mr. Anuradha Weeraman<\/strong> who is the Head of Engineering and Co-Founder of ConceptVines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students were able to get an insight and enhance their knowledge on what it means to contribute to Free and Open-Source projects, how it can help them to build skills that will be of value when getting into the industry, and how they can start working on them through this tech talk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
