A guest lecture on \u201cProcess Redesign and Innovation Techniques : Current Industry Practices\u201d<\/strong> was held virtually for the final year undergraduates of the Department of Information Technology on 15th<\/sup> December, 2022<\/strong> under the course module ITC4342 – Business Process Management<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Shanta Rajapaksha Yapa<\/strong> (PhD (Colombo), FBCS (UK), MIET (UK), CMILT (SL)), the Chief Commercial Officer of Affiniti Innovations, the Director of SLIIT Innovate and a Senior Academic Fellow of SLIIT Business School was the resource person for the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guest talk brought forth awareness to the students on business process remodeling and novel techniques which are used in part of current industry practices. This trending, but fresh topic was well received by the undergraduates of the department making the session a fruitful one, which opened their eyes to a new facet of the business world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
