A team of talented first-year undergraduates from the Business Information Systems (Special) Degree program at the Department of Information Technology (DIT), Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, achieved a remarkable success by securing the first runners-up position at the Infinity 4.0 competition organized by the Department of Commerce at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year Infinity 4.0, brought together 30 teams representing 8 universities for an intense three-week competition. The winning team consisted of Ms. Amaya Amarasinghe, Ms. Dinali Tirashi, and Ms. Minoli Perera, who demonstrated exceptional teamwork and expertise throughout the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflecting on their achievement, Ms. Amaya Amarasinghe, the team leader, expressed her gratitude and shared her thoughts, saying, “Participating in an inter-university competition as first-year undergraduates was a challenging experience for us. We are immensely grateful for the opportunities provided by the Department and the guidance we received to enhance our analytical skills. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the academic staff of the Department of Information Technology, USJ, for their unwavering support.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
