A one day, train the trainer workshop on Power BI, organized by the Department of Information Technology, was held on 19th July 2023<\/strong>. This was conducted with the intention of enhancing and upgrading the knowledge on Power BI for the staff members who will be involved in teaching the subject ITC 2372- Business Analytics next semester. The event was held physically at the ITRC Lab 03 with the participation of over 25 staff members from the Department of IT and ITRC.

The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Pradeep Kavinda Kotuwegedara<\/strong>, A Microsoft Most Valued Professional and experienced Microsoft Trainer who works as a Learning Solutions Specialist at TechOneGlobal Pvt. Ltd.<\/strong>

The participants of the workshop were able to enhance their knowledge and get a good insight on Power BI and what they should deliver to the students to enhance their skill on Power BI. This workshop was coordinated by Prof. Lasith Gunawardena<\/strong>, Head, Dept. of IT with the assistance of Dr. P.D. Amitha Kumara <\/strong>(Coordinator, ITC 2372).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
