A Guest Lecture on the Dash of Programming was conducted as a part of the Subject ITC 1171 Computational Thinking for Problem Solving on 14th August 2023. This was conducted with a view to enhance the students\u2019 knowledge about solving problems through computational thinking and programming applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr.\u00a0Ransith Fernando<\/a>, Co-Founder and Managing Director of\u00a0Forestpin (Pvt) Ltd<\/a>, as well as a past chairman of\u00a0BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT<\/a>, Sri Lanka Section conducted the session. The session was coordinated by\u00a0Dr. Shashikala Subhashini, the coordinator of ITC 1171 and the assistance of other staff members in the department. Therefore, with 70 students\u2019 participation, the session was successfully carried out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
