The Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, proudly congratulates Professor Lasith Gunawardena<\/strong> on being honored as the ICT Educator of the Year 2023<\/strong> by the Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL). This prestigious recognition was presented at the inauguration of the 42nd National Information Technology Conference (NITC) 2024 by Hon. Eng. Eranga Weeraratne, Deputy Minister of Digital Economy, on November 24, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With over 25 years of dedicated service, Professor Lasith Gunawardena has made remarkable contributions to ICT education. He has engaged with thousands of undergraduates and graduates across a diverse range of academic programs. His tireless efforts to enhance the educational programs at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and beyond have significantly advanced the field. We are honored to have had the privilege of working alongside Professor Lasith Gunawardena, whose contributions continue to inspire students, faculty, and professionals in the field of ICT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
