We are delighted to highlight Mr. Kasun Rodrigo, a third-year student of the Bachelor of Information Systems (BIS) degree program at the Department of IT, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, for his great achievements in cricket! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Kasun Rodrigo has received the SLUSA (Sri Lanka University Sports Association) Colours for 2023 from the Sri Lanka University Sports Association, which shows how talented and committed he is to the sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His outstanding efforts have brought pride to USJ, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Champions \u2013 Colombo Premier League T10 Cricket Tournament 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 2nd Runners-up \u2013 Inter-University Cricket Tournament 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Winner \u2013 SLUG Cricket Championship 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 10 years of cricket experience, he has shown great leadership by helping his team win the Colombo Premier League. Also, his consistent performance helped him receive the Japura Warna (University Colours) for Cricket in 2023 and 2024, showing his dedication and talent. Kasun is also the current president of S@IT – the official student association of the Department. We wish him more success as he continues to represent USJ with the same passion and strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
