The Department of Information Technology successfully conducted a Music Therapy Workshop on 16th October 2025 for the 2nd and 3rd year students under the Personality & Skills Development (PSD) subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session was conducted by Ms. Uthpala Gajamanna, a Medical Music Therapist and Researcher, who shared her expertise on the therapeutic power of music and its ability to enhance emotional well-being and personal development. Students had the opportunity to experience how music can be used as a tool for relaxation, self-expression, and connection with others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this session, students were encouraged to find their de-stressed selves while discovering both the essence of Music Therapy and the people beside them through shared musical experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop was coordinated by Ms. Dulari Perera and Ms. Kumudu Fernando on behalf of the Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
