The inaugural “BIS Student Symposium organized by the Department of Information Technology will be held on Saturday, the 27th of June 2020 starting from 6.3o pm onwards. The event is organized with the objective of providing the students a platform to engage, showcase, and contemplate on the more socially conscious and applied avenues of Information Systems and Management education.<\/p>\n

The symposium will consist of 3 main tracks showcasing extended abstracts, projects and posters presented by the undergraduates of the department. The event will be conducted via zoom with the participation of undergraduates, university academic staff members, and practitioners of the industry.<\/p>\n

Keynote speaker:          Mr. Shanta Rajapaksha Yapa, General Secretary \/ Board Director, ICT Industry Skills Council<\/strong><\/p>\n
