Marketing Management (Special) Degree, Department of Marketing Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Marketing Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura organized a<br \/>\nDiscussion Forum called as \u201cStakeholder Consultation Session with Alumina of the Department\u201d<br \/>\nin the process of revising the current curriculum of the B.Sc. Marketing Management (Special)<br \/>\nDegree programme which is targeted to launch in 2020.<br \/>\nThe purpose of the discussion is to show case the proposed curriculum of the Degree to the<br \/>\nAlumina members of the Department and to get the insights on their expectations from a<br \/>\nmarking graduate who pass out from the Department, challenges that they face when adopting<br \/>\ninto the corporate world, and how did they overcome such challenges, and to comment on the<br \/>\nnew curriculum by incorporating new trends and opportunities in the market both locally and<br \/>\nglobally. The outcome of the discussion is to introduce new course units (subjects), revise the<br \/>\nexisting course units to match the curriculum with the latest trends, new knowledge in the<br \/>\ndiscipline while developing required generic and discipline-specific skills and attitude of the<br \/>\nstudents.
